Learn how to enhance your Square 9 solution with Searches, Security, Archives, Workflows, and Preconfigured Solutions.
Course Overview: Using discussions, demonstrations, and activities, you will learn how to expand, modify, and enhance your Square 9 solution. This course will reinforce and build upon the concepts presented in the eLearning courses IT/Power User Levels 1 and 2. We will learn about:
GlobalSearch
- Custom search and archive construction
- Managing security in the named user model
- Adding preconfigured archives
- Configuring a guest access/public portal
GlobalCapture
- Creating searches and managing security
- Custom workflow construction
- CTS DirectConnect
- Using preconfigured workflows and forms
Target Audience: System Administrators and Power Users
Objective(s):
- Efficiently manage your Square 9 solution.
- Modify your existing Square 9 solution to expand and improve your business processes by adding archives, constructing workflows, and implementing preconfigured solutions.
Duration: Two Day Live Video Conference, 10 AM to 4 PM Eastern Time
Suggested Prerequisites: IT/Power User Levels 1 and 2. While completion of these is not required to attend, it is strongly urged to get the most out of your time in the course.
Requirements: Square 9 will provide a Windows 10 Oracle virtual machine (.VDI file). Attendees are required to have a laptop computer capable of supporting Oracle Virtual Box and this VM.
Recommended Host Resources: PC, MAC, Linux with 4 Cores, 12 GB RAM and 200 GB of free hard drive space.
Recommended Virtual Machine Resources: 2 Cores, 6 GB RAM and 100 GB of free hard drive
The user must have local administrative rights in order to install and configure the virtual machine software they will be required to download and install prior to coming to class. The class will run on virtual machines (VMs) on which the Square 9 products have been installed.
